It's believed that Jack is now the youngest ever winner of this title, so his hard training and strong, purposeful running has been well-rewarded! Continuing her fine form, Clare again won the women's trophy in less muddy style than last year - which is surprising because, despite 5 dry days beforehand, the course was very sloppy. The run beside Woodridden, up to the foot of The Gulley was particularly sticky. And at that traumatic point on the course, an English Wolfhound puppy scampered past some of the back-markers... on its THREE legs. Honest.
