Notice of Orion Harriers Annual General Meeting – Sunday 04 October 2026 @ 11.00

Dear Orion Harrier,
The 2026 annual general meeting will take place on Sunday 4 th October in the Clubhouse at 11.00.
We would like as many members as possible to attend. Refreshments will be available from 10:30.
You will find an agenda and other documentation attached to this email.
Over the last few years there have been enquiries from members requesting the ability to vote if
they are unable to attend an AGM. This year, in addition to ordinary AGM business such as electing
the committee and receiving reports, the committee is proposing the adoption of a modernised
constitution (full wording and explanation at Appendices 4 and 5). This new constitution would,
amongst other things, provide for members to vote by proxy on all business at future AGMs.
A vote on the new constitution is special rather than ordinary business. Accordingly, members
unable to attend the meeting in person may email secretary@orionharrriers.com to arrange a
for/against vote (see Q and A’s at Appendix 5).

Please ensure that any such communication is submitted by Friday 02 October.
